Louis Meitin
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, April 28, 2015, Mr. Joseph Louis Meitin, 85, loving and beloved husband of 59 years to Gerrie Meitin and a devoted father well loved by his children.
Mr. Meitin was a graduate of Tulane University. He served in the United States Navy for 8 years and retired from General Electric after 29 years. He volunteered at Doctors Hospital and H2U for 14 years.
Family members in addition to his wife include his daughters: Catherine Martinez, M.D. (Jose) of Chattanooga, TN, Patricia Bach, C.P.A. (Ken) of Gaithersburg, MD; and son: Jerry Meitin, E.D.S. of Evans, GA. He is preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Lisa Meitin.
Funeral services will be private.
