Manchester– Therese J. Chabot, 93, died April 24, 2015 at St. Theresa Healthcare following a brief illness.
She was born in Biddeford ME. on June 1, 1921 the daughter of Ernest and Antoinette (Gendron) Paquet.
She had strong religious conviction and lived by her beliefs. An avid reader with a high interest in holistic medicine, always providing advice on natural alternatives. In addition, she taught sewing in the Pepperell Mills and taught CCD at Ste. Marie.
She held memberships in St. Anne Sodality, Ste. Marie Charismatic Group and Pius X Institute.
We are grateful for our mother, a selfless person and friend to many. She was a caring person who not only raised eight children, but tended for her six siblings when her mother fell ill. She always gave one hundred and ten percent. She was an amazing woman with many talents. Her devotion to her husband, family, friends and the Lord was inspirational and admired by all. Her legacy lives on in her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. We were truly blessed and will miss her tremendously, our angel and gift from God.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest E. Chabot on December 11, 2009.
Family members include four daughters and four sons; Rose Marie Olson of Boise, ID., Helene Chabot-Garcia of Manchester, Julie Chabot of Manchester, Robert Chabot of Derry, Michael Chabot of St. Louis MO., George Chabot of Goffstown, Marie Caron and Guy Chabot of Manchester, thirteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one brother, Brother Ernest Paquet of Canton, OH., one sister, Monique Thibeau of Biddeford, ME., several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be on Sunday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday at 9 AM in Ste. Marie Church. Niche placement will take place at a later date in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
