Kenneth Lee Browning 81, of Anderson, died Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Community Hospital after an extended illness.
He was born on March 12, 1934 in Windfall, Indiana the son of Marion Alonzo and Mary Ann (Neff) Browning. He served in the United States Army and later was employed as an electrician with Delco Remy for 47 years retiring in 1997. He was a member of UAW 662 and served with the Crime Watch Organization for 20 years. He enjoyed raising and showing horses, yard work, reading his Bible, and genealogy.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Beverly Joyce (Humke) Browning, and his three children, Brian Browning of Anderson, Jeff (Birgit) Browning of Germany, and Brenda (Peter) Ruffing of East Lansing, Michigan. Also 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his 13 siblings.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service. Friends may visit with the family from 1-3 PM prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Siddiqui and staff and also Community Northview Nursing Home for their special care of Kenneth during his illness.
