Beny “B.J.” Peretz, 36, of Rochelle, Georgia died Sunday, April 26, 2015, at Landmark Hospital in Athens, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Saturday, May 2, 2015, at Salem Baptist Church in Ben Hill County, with the Rev. Dewain Joiner officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Friday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
B.J. was born December 31, 1978, in Tampa, Florida to Beny Peretz and Linda Lewis Nasworthy. He loved to fish and watch NASCAR and drag racing. He loved music and singing and will be remembered for his big heart and love of people. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Linda & Darryl Nasworthy of Rochelle; his father, Beny Peretz of Tampa, Florida; a brother, Brian Nasworthy of Tampa, Florida; a sister, Kellie Nasworthy of Tampa, Florida; grandmothers, Mella Lewis of Dover, Florida and Patricia Lynn of Rochelle; grandfather, Isaac Peretz of Riverview, Florida; aunts, Jane Woods of Clearwater, Florida, Clara Carey and Maria Peretz, both of Tampa, Florida; and uncles, Travis Lewis of Dover, Florida, Dany Peretz of St. Petersburg, Florida, Paul & Alice Deaton of Tampa, Florida. Several cousins also survive.
