WEBSTER – Helen (Sniadach) Stefaniak, 94, died Saturday, April 25, in Lanessa Extended Care with family at her side. Her husband of 64 years, Victor J. Stefaniak, Sr., died in 2009.
She leaves a son, Victor J. Stefaniak, Jr. and his wife Carol A. Stefaniak of Webster; 2 grandchildren, Christopher Stefaniak of Webster and Sarah Stefaniak of Plymouth; a brother, Stephen Sniadach of Webster; nieces and nephews.
She was born and raised in Dudley, one of the 8 children of Frank S. and Honorata (Kwiatkowski) Sniadach. She moved to Webster when she married in 1945.
Mrs. Stefaniak first worked at Bates Shoe Company. She then was a stitcher before retiring in 1970.
She was a lifelong member of Saint Joseph Basilica. She enjoyed reading and sewing.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 29, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace. Visitation will be from 8:30 to 9:30 AM Wednesday, April 29, in the funeral home.
