ROCHDALE: Manuel R. "Manny" Broullon, Jr. 73, of Leela Lane in the Rochdale section of Leicester, died Saturday, April 25 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.
He leaves his wife of 39 years, Patricia A. (Anctil) Broullon, two sons William M. and Matthew R. Broullon of Leicester, two daughters Cynthia M. Bray and her husband Patrick of Halifax, Ma., and Michelle A. Broullon-Collins and her husband Robert of Leicester, a sister Diana D. Soloman and her husband Andrew of The Villages, Fl., his mother in law Helen Anctil of Hubbardston, 8 grandchildren; Stephen, Samantha, Sawyer, Sophia, Patrick, Jr., Peyton, Parker and Kolton, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family, including young people that Manny allowed to stay in his home to help them out.
Manny was a longtime printer working at several area print shops before retiring.
Born in New York City, he was the son of Manuel R. Broullon, Sr. and Dolores (deTorres) Broullon, and later served his country with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Known to many as "Dad" or Pops" and his grandchildren as "Bapa", he was also the "Patriarch" of The Ranch in Worcester. He was a member of St. Pius X Church, and the Worcester Dart League.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 29 from the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Pius X Church, 1153 Main St., Leicester.Calling hours are Tuesday, April 28 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
