Mildred L. (Pacheco) Sousa, 94 of Methuen passed away on April 23, 2015. Mildred was born in Lawrence on October 25, 1920 to the late Jose and Maria Pacheco. She was a member of the PACL Woman’s Council. Mildred was a long time employee of Western Electric.
Mildred was the beloved wife of the late Manuel D. Sousa. She was the devoted mother of Dr. Manuel Sousa and his wife Francine of Salem, NH and Deborah Marcotte and her husband David of Bethlehem, NH. She was the dear sister of Mary Conte of Hampstead, NH, the late George Pacheco, and the late Tina Daher. Mildred was the loving grandmother of Manuel Sousa, Christopher Sousa and his wife Andrea, Nathan Sousa and his wife Shelly, and Matthew Marcotte. Mildred was the cherished great grandmother of Cameron, Connor, Madison, Manny, Nicholas, Victoria, Evelyn and the late Maxwell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, April 27, 2015 at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph’s Parish, 40 Main St. Salem, NH. Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
