Beatrice A. (Andrews) Burton, 95, of Dartmouth died Sunday February 13, 2005 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the wife of the late James W. Burton.
Born in North Adams, the daughter of the late George and Amelia (Rougier) Andrews, she lived in New Bedford and Mansfield for many years before moving to Dartmouth several years ago.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia A. Purtell of Dartmouth; a son, James W. Burton II and his wife Diana Baxter of Whitman; five grandchildren, Scott Purtell, William Purtell, Timothy Purtell, Jimmy Purtell, and Trisha Dmytrck; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Thursday February 17, 2005 at 8 AM. Funeral Mass at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday February 16, 2005 from 5-8 PM. Burial will be in South Dartmouth Cemetery.
