Worcester – Stanley M. Dulmaine Sr., 83 of 42 Assabet Lane and formerly of 144 Fremont St. died on Saturday Feb. 12 in his home after an illness.
His wife Claire R. (Boss) Dulmaine died in 1983. Mr. Dulmaine is survived by a son Stanley M. Dulmaine Jr. of Brookfield; two daughters Janet M. Desjardins of Bedford, NH and Donna M. McAvey of Worcester with whom he lived; a sister Ruth Plante of Oxford; six grandchildren Jesse, Jason, Eric, Michael, Claire and Thomas and several nephews and nieces. Mr. Dulmaine was born in Worcester son of Arthur J. and Sadie (Matthews) Dulmaine. He is predeceased by two brothers Walter and Arthur Dulmaine.
Mr. Dulmaine was a member of Christ the King Church. He worked for the City of Worcester in the Sanitation Department as a truck driver for over 20 years before retiring in 1985. He was an avid sports fan and also enjoyed the beach.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday Feb. 15 at 12 Noon in Christ the King Church 1052 Pleasant St. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours.
