Ottis L. Clark, 66, of Ocilla, Georgia, died Friday, February 11, 2005, at Dorminy Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 3 P.M., Sunday, February 13, 2005, at Brushy Creek Primitive Baptist Church, Irwin County, with Rev. John Gibbs, Jr., and Garrett Nelms officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7:00 until 9:00, Saturday evening at Paulk Funeral Home, Ocilla.
Mr. Clark was born November 22, 1938, in Irwin County, Georgia, to the late Rev. Semer H. and Mary Frances Myrick Clark. He lived in the community all of his life and was a 1957 graduate of Irwin County High School. Mr. Clark was a farmer, a former employee of Ewing Dusting Service and Goodman Welding. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Irwin County.
Mr. Clark is survived by his wife: Nell Howell Clark, Ocilla; one daughter: Marsha Fletcher, Panama City, FL; one son: Robert Clark, Ocilla; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild; one brother: Jackie Lee Clark, Ocilla and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Ross L. Clark.
