Janice Ann (Raison) Southerland, 74, of Anderson died on April 21, 2015 at Community Hospital following an extended illness.
She was born on June 27, 1940 in Anderson to William H. and Oka Maxine (Dove) Raison.
She was a homemaker. She attended Parkview Church of the Nazarene and loved spending time with her grandkids, fishing, playing Bingo and yahtzee.
Survivors include her 8 children, Linda (Harold) Jackson of Florida, Sam (Cindy) Southerland of Frankton, William Raison of New Palestine, Larry Southerland, Gary (Debbie) Southerland, Vicki Davidson, Carol Blakeley and John (Becky) Southerland all of Anderson; Sister, Sharon Huff of Daleville; Brother, Donald Raison of Lapel; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Samuel Southerland in 1992; 2 children, Debbie Southerland and Ricky Tutterow; 2 sisters, Ilene Chilson and Donna Poffenbarger; Brothers-in-law, Bob Chilson and Ansel Huff; Sister-in-law, Shirley Raison; Daughter-in-law, Lorra Southerland; and son-in-law, Randy Davidson.
Services will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 2:00pm at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Dan Alexander officiating. A burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park at a later date.
Visitation will be held 2 hours prior on Saturday at the funeral home.
