William A. Christopherson, 85, of Medway, died Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at the Metro West Medical Center in Natick. He was the husband of Geraldine (Gillespie) Christopherson who died in 1993.
Born in Bronx, New York on October 3, 1929, he was the son of the late Oscar and Monica Christopherson.
Mr. Christopherson was a resident of Medway for many years. He graduated from Boston Trade High School in 1947.
Mr. Christopherson was a Korean War Air Force veteran. He proudly served from 1951-1955 and attained the rank of staff sergeant.
Before his retirement, he worked at the Gillette Company in South Boston for 40 years.
He is survived by three children, William J., Kelly A. and Paula M. Christopherson, five grandchildren, Patrick, Andrew and Daniel Christopherson and Michael and Erin McCauley and one great-grandson Caleb Christopherson.
He is also survived by a good friend Barbara Flynn of Medway.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, April 25 from 10 a.m. - Noon in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com). Burial will follow at Blue Hills Cemetery in Braintree.
