Sr. Jeannette Olivier, PM (Sr. Ste Marie-Elisabeth), 93, of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary died April 19, 2015 at St. Joseph Residence in Manchester, NH.
She was born in Berlin, NH on November 26, 1921, the daughter of Emile and Elisabeth (Labossiere) Olivier. Sr. Marie-Elisabeth received her bachelor of Arts Degree from Rivier College (University) in Nashua, NH.
She was an excellent and dedicated elementary school teacher who taught in the Parochial schools in Berlin and Manchester, NH and at Presentation of Mary in Hudson, NH. In 1985, she retired as a teacher and ministered as a nurses’ aide at PM Infirmary in Hudson, NH. Sister retired to St. Joseph Residence II in 2014.
Sr. Marie-Elisabeth is predeceased by her parents, 2 brothers, Laurier Olivier and Robert Olivier, a sister, Doris (Olivier) Aubut, all from Berlin, NH.
She is survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, great-nephews, great-nieces, great great-nephews, and great great-nieces.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Thursday, April 23, 2015 in the Resurrection Chapel of St. Marie Residence, 495 Mammoth Road, Manchester. Burial followed in the Presentation of Mary Cemetery, Hudson.
