Obituary

Anthony “Sonny” Casiello, age 72, of Burlington passed away February 9th, at his home following a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Rosalie (Corso). Born in Boston he was the son of the late Louise (DeFalco) and Samuel Casiello.

Anthony was a retired Industrial salesman. He worked for thirty years with the Stewart Warner Alemite Company. After his retirement he continued working for his brother at Harvard Fruit of Brookline. Anthony also enjoyed working part time as a driver for Joseph´s Limousine Co. of Medford. Anthony was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War servivng from 1953 to 1955. He was devoted to his family and loved cooking and preparing gourmet meals. Memorial contributions may be made in Anthony´s memory to VNA of Middlesex-East and Visiting Nurse Hospice, 607 North Ave suite 17, Wakefield, MA 01880.

In addition to his beloved wife Rosalie, he is survived by his two daughters, Dianne Dellanno and her husband Richard of Wilmington and Maria Madden and her husband Francis of Tewksbury. He is also survived by his brother Samuel Casiello of Abington and is preceded in death by his sister Phyllis Colella.

Funeral from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home 60 Pleasant St., Woburn, Saturday, at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Barbara Church, 138 Cambridge Rd. Woburn, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
