LOWELL—Nina B. (Bechard) Latour, 92 years old, died Monday, February 7th, at the Westford House. She was the wife of the late Edward C. Latour, who died in 1996.
She was born in Lowell, on January 16, 1913, a daughter of the late William and Rebecca (Daigle) Bechard, and was a graduate of St. Louis Grammar School and St. Louis Academy.
Mrs. Latour had been employed as a Teacher at the former Rogers Hall for over fifteen years and as a secretary at the former Union National Bank. She was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church.
Surviving her are a daughter and son-in-law: Elizabeth and Edward Freeman, of Waltham; two granddaughters and their husbands: Deborah and Darrin Aucoin, of Waltham; and Lisa and Michael O’Brien, of Weymouth; also many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was the last surviving member of her family of ten children.
Friends may call from 9 until 10 AM Saturday, February 12th, at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street, (Rte. 38). Her Funeral Mass to be offered at 10:30 AM at the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH, Lowell. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery, Lowell.
