Wayne P. Foskett,57,of 122 Chestnut St., died Mon., Jan. 31 at Harrington Memorial Hospital after being stricken by an automobile while walking on Rte. 131 in Sturbidge.
He leaves his wife of 31 years, Susan A. (Alsten) Foskett, his mother Evelyn (Glasser) Foskett of Chico Hills, Calif., a step-daughter Kristen Moriarty and her fiance Robert Gray, Jr. of Sturbridge,a son Troy Foskett of Leicester, a daughter Nicole Laurenti of Suffolk, Va., a brother Harrison "Sonny" Foskett of Ontario, Calif., a sister Shiela Brodeur of Chico Hills, his mother-in-law Ruth Alsten of Fiskdale, and three grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Born in Worcester, he was the son of the late Harrison G. Foskett. He graduated from David Prouty High School in Spencer in 1965.
Mr. Foskett was a salesman for Standard Foundry in Windsor, Ct. before retiring due to illness in 1988.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 5 at 10 a.m. in the Sturbridge Federated Church, 8 Maple St., Sturbridge. Burial will follow in North Cemetery, Sturbridge. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Sturbridge Federated Church Building Fund, 8 Maple St., Sturbridge, 01566.
