Jeannine L. (Loranger) Liarikos, 75, of Fairhaven died Sunday February 6, 2005 unexpectedly at home.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of Yvonne D. (Becotte) Loranger of New Bedford and the late Albert Loranger, she lived in New Bedford for many years before moving to Fairhaven.
Mrs. Liarikos was formerly employed as a schoolteacher at St. Joseph's School in New Bedford and had also worked for Loranger Construction Company.
She was a graduate of St. Anthony's High School. She received her Bachelors and Masters in Business Administration degrees from Bryant College in Rhode Island. Her greatest joys in her life were her children and grandchildren. She loved being by the ocean.
Survivors include her mother; two sons, John G. Liarikos II and his wife Kim of Dartmouth and Jay M. Liarikos of Fairhaven; three daughters, Diana Mascarello and her husband John of East Taunton, Anne Marie Liarikos of Lakeville, and Catherine Martin and her husband Scott of Fairhaven; three brothers, Marcel Loranger of New Bedford, Gilbert Loranger of Dartmouth, and Ronald Loranger of Lakeville; seven grandchildren, Jaime and John Mascarello Jr., Jennifer and Scott Devlin, Jasmine, Marcus, and Emma Liarikos, a great-grandson, Aidan Downey; and nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Jeannine Y. Devlin and Marc Liarikos, and sister of the late Roger Loranger and Denis Loranger.
Her Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday February 9, 2005 at 12:30 PM in the First Church of the Nazarene, 764 Hathaway Rd., New Bedford. Visiting hours are omitted.
