David J. Bellwood, Sr., age 58, of Sandown, NH died Monday at his home.
He was born in Lawrence, MA and grew up and was educated in Methuen, MA where he lived most of his life until moving to Sandown 2 years ago. David worked for the Methuen Post Office for 19 years as a rural carrier in the West End of Methuen until his medical retirement.
David coached Pop Warner Football for 10 years, was on a bowling league with members of his family, and was a life member of the Queen City Chapter of the DAV in Lawrence, MA. He enjoyed reading, history and exploring on the computer. His biggest love was helping his grandsons with their homework projects.
He was predeceased by his parents Stanley & Rita (Eastwood) Bellwood and his brother Gary Bellwood.

Grandchildren: Jake, Christian, Justin, Sakura, Daichi, Tyler, Nicolas, Domenic, Haru and Anthony

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5-8 PM followed by a service. Cremation will follow.
