
Helen W. Proctor, 84, formerly of 20 Linda Dr., Belmont died April 11, 2002 in the Life Care Center of Nashoba Valley in Littleton MA after a lengthy illness. She was born in Roxbury MA on August 2, 1917, the daughter of Patrick and Delia Walsh.
Prior to her retirement, she had been employed in the food service departments of Tufts University for 15 years and also at the former Laconia State School and Training Center and with Community Services-Meals on Wheels Program in Laconia.
Mrs. Procter was a former communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Winnisquam. She was the widow of Irving L. Proctor, who died in 1979. In addition, she was pre-deceased by a son Robert Proctor.
Family members include a son, Carl I. Proctor and his wife Theresa of Arlington MA; two daughters, Sandra E. LeBel and her husband Richard of Acton MA and Joan M. Proctor of Framingham MA; two grandsons, Mark LeBel of Ayer MA and Michael LeBel of Acton MA; a great granddaughter, Jordan LeBel of Ayer MA; nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be in the Simoneau & Lambert Funeral Home, 139 Church St., Laconia on Monday from 11 AM to 1 PM. A prayer service will be held in the Funeral Home at 1PM. Rev. Adrien Longchamps will officiate. Burial will follow in Bayside Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, New England Affiliate Central Processing Center, 20 Speen St., Framingham MA 01701-4688. David L. Furber and Timothy C.
