John J. Baudanza, age 64, of Woburn and Davie, Florida past away Saturday following a lengthy illness. Born in Woburn he was the son of John F. Baudanza of Woburn and the late Doris M. (Chuisa) Baudanza.
John was a graduate of Woburn High School in 1959 and was a graduate of both Wentworth and Franklin Institutes. He was a retired electrical engineer. He worked for many years with the Beckman Coulter Inc. of Hialieah, FL designing and making medical equipment. John enjoyed mechanics, working on cars and fixing things. He was also an avid sports fan and loved the Boston Red Sox. Memorial contributions may be made in John´s memory to the Dana Faber Cancer Institute, 44 Binney St. Boston, MA 02115.
In addition to his father, John is survived by his loving companion Cynthia McConnell of Davie, FL. He is also survived by his devoted sister Barbara A. Boehler of Milton and is further survived by his loving nieces Christine Boehler of Framingham, Barbara-Ann McDonough and her husband James of Woburn, and nephew Richard Boehler of Milton.
Funeral from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home 60 Pleasant St. Woburn, Tuesday, at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Charles Church, 280 Main St. Woburn at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Woburn.
