FALL RIVER - Jacinto T. “Jesse” Bulhoes, age 69, residence 52 Ferncroft Rd. Somerset, died Saturday in Fall River at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Laura (Botelho Bulhoes. He is survived by 1 Son: William Bulhoes of Somerset, 1 Brother: Manuel T. Bulhoes of Las Vegas, NV, 3 Sisters: Maria B. Costa of Somerset, Elisa C. Araujo of Taunton, and Maria Adelaide Gomes of Fall River, 1 Granddaughter and several Nieces and Nephews.
Born in Ponta Delgada, Sao Miguel, Azores he was the son of the late Manuel T. Bulhoes and the late Cecilia(Medeiros) Bulhoes. He came to Fall River in 1966 and has lived in Somerset for the last 29 years. Before retiring, he worked for 30 years as a Machine Operator for Rex Cut Products Inc. of Fall River. He was a member of St. John of God Church. He was the past vice-president of the Holy Ghost Society of St. John of God Church. He was also a member of the Atenau Luso American Club of Fall River.
His Funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 North Main Street on Tuesday at 8:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John of God Church at 9:00 AM. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Somerset. Calling Hours Monday 5-8 P.M.
