Mrs. Madeline L. (Lavoie) McCue, formerly of Taunton, died Tuesday, April 14 in Island Terrace, Lakeville, following a period of failing health. She was born 67 years ago in Fall River, the daughter of the late Raymond and Georgette (Lavoie) Lavoie. She attended the Mass. College of Nursing in Boston and had been a Taunton resident for many years. Prior to her retirement, Madeline was formerly employed at Taunton State Hospital for a number of years.
She leaves: 1 son: Raymond Judd of Taunton; 1 daughter: Melody DeBairos and her husband, Tommy of Attleboro; a son-in-law: Charles Martin of Taunton; 3 brothers: Raymond Lavoie of Deerfield Beach, Fla., Bruce Martin and his wife Dorothy of New Bedford, and Alan Martin of Pennsylvania; 2 sisters: Susan Conway of Carver, and Constance Lavoie and her husband, Michael of Taunton; 4 grandchildren: Robert and Corinne Osburn, and Ariana and Jaime DeBairos; 1 great granddaughter: Candace Lynn DeCosta; her dear friends: Donna Forrest and Diane Lambert, and several nieces and nephews. Madeline was also the mother of the late Candace S. Martin of Taunton.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted. Arrangements are under the direction of The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home of Taunton.
