Jennie DiStasio, age 84 died at the Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital of Boston, Thursday morning February 3, after a long illness. Born in Boston she was the daughter of the late Bernedetta (Venezia) & Ignazio Arena.
Jennie was a homemaker and has lived in Medford for the last 57 years.
Jennie was the beloved wife of the late Amorino DiStasio. Devoted mother of Jean T. Cristiani and her husband Vincent of Quincy, John P. DiStasio and his wife Maureen of NH. Loving grandmother of Angela, Vincent Jr., John, Elisa, Laura and Kristen. Also survived by 11 loving great grandchildren. Sister of Anna Falco of Quincy, Charles Arena of Medford, Salvatore Arena and Leo Arena both of Boston, Michael Arena of Holbrook the late Josephine Arena and Anthony Arena.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Monday February 7 at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 12-4PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
