Flora Perry Conger, 94, of Tifton passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at Golden Living Center in Tifton. Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2015, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with Rev. Justin Devereaux officiating. Mrs. Conger will be laid to rest at Ty Ty Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, April 10, 2015, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Shane Conger, Auden Conger, Wayman Conger, Allen Conger, Calvin Perry and Keith Perry will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Richter, Randall Richter and Tommy Conger.
Mrs. Conger was born July 2, 1920 in Colquitt County, the daughter of Thorton D. Perry and Adella Davis Perry, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George Jack Conger; and a brother, J. P. Perry. She was a retired seamstress from Warner Brothers Corporation in Moultrie. She was a member of Pine Level Freewill Baptist Church in Worth County.
Mrs. Conger is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Perry and Dolores Conger of Tifton; and two grandchildren, Shane Conger and Auden Conger.
