Nancy (Bennett) McCarthy, 74, of Leesburg, Florida passed on April 6, 2015 at home with her family. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Claire (Charron) Bennett.
Nancy grew up in Medway and graduated from Medway High School, Class of 1959. She worked for TJX in Framingham for many years before retiring to Florida. Nancy was very active in her church, The Catholic Community of St. Paul, in Leesburg and the Red Hat Society.
Nancy is survived by her husband John McCarthy of Leesburg, a daughter Melinda Hoffman of Florida and a son Michael Lanthorn and his wife Lisa of Tennessee. Nancy has seven grandsons and five great grandchildren, three step-children; Maureen Schiavone of Holbrook, Kathleen Petrie of Stoughton and Tim McCarthy of Needham and five step-grandchildren.
Nancy is also survived by her three brothers; Benjamin and his wife Sandra of Medway, Richard and his wife Carol of Colorado, and Paul and his wife Bethany of Holliston, and all of their children.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 151 Village St. in Medway on Saturday, April 11 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
