Edith Sorrenti, 100 of Medford, died peacefully Monday March 30, in the Kaplan Family Hospice House, Danvers.
Born in Boston, she lived in Medford since 1954 and formerly of the North End of Boston. She was the daughter of the late Josephine (Tedesco) and Peter DeMinico. Edith was a Telephone Operator, with the former New England Telephone in Boston for 22 years and retired in 1955.
Beloved wife of the late Frank Sorrenti. Devoted mother of Frank J. Sorrenti of Melrose. Loving grandmother of Nicholas Sorrenti of Saugus. Sister of the late Constance Milano, Frederick, Joseph and Philip DeMinico. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Thursday April 9, at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
