Paul B. Baxter, 76, of Beaver Lake Ave., Derry died Wednesday April 9, 2002 at his home. Mr. Baxter was born in Lowell, Ma on April 30, 1925, the son of the late William and Gertrude (Curran) Baxter. He had resided in Derry since 1975. Mr. Baxter was a US Navy WWII veteran. He had been employed as an Oil Burner Service Repairman for Duston Oil, Hampstead for many years. Mr. Baxter was a longtime member of the V.F.W. Post 1617, Derry. He was also a former member of the Cooties, Salem.
He is survived by his wife, Frances L. (Albrecht) Baxter, Derry, one daughter, Carol Lefebvre, Lowell, Ma, three stepsons, Brian C. Sonia, Derry, Jeffrey G. Sonia, Florida, Scott A. Sonia, Whitefield, NH, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, private graveside services will be held in Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium are handling arrangements.
