Obituary

Providence, RI – Donald T. Wheelock II, 60, of Fall River died Monday, January 31, 2005 at Rhode Island Hospital after a long illness. He was the longtime companion of Pauline Lynn of Fall River.

He was born in Fall River, son of Thelma L. (Scholes) Wheelock of Westport and the late Donald T. Wheelock, Sr., and lived in Westport prior to moving to Fall River several years ago. He was employed as a welder for various companies in the area. Mr. Wheelock enjoyed his family and friends and playing cards. An avid hunter and fisherman, he was a former member of the St. John’s Fishing Club of Fall River.

Including his mother and longtime companion, he is survived by a daughter: Sherry Wheelock of Rhode Island; 4 sisters: Joan A. Galford of Somerset, Mary Lou Rocha of Tiverton, Lynn Gray of Westport and Lori E. Rencurrel of Westport; a grandson; and several nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Barry Wheelock.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
