WORCESTER___Bronislau J. “Ben” Siminski, 91, of 74 Ward St., died Saturday January 29 in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center.
He leaves his beloved wife of 68 years, Eva A. (Volungavitch) Siminski; a brother, Vincent Siminski of Sutton; four sisters, Cecelia K. Baniukiewicz of Worcester; Josephine T. Jankowski and Rose M. Misiewicz both of Gardner and Therese L. Tishkevich of Manchester, N.H., Three brothers, Stephen F. Joseph B. and Peter F. and a sister, Ann T. Kisiel predeceased him. “Uncle Ben” was a loving and caring uncle to three generations of nieces and nephews. He was born on July 9, 1913, son of the late Peter and Mary Ann (Kasprzak) Siminski and lived in Worcester all of his life.
Mr. Siminski was well known in the New England shoe industry having worked as sales manager for many years at United Shoe Machinery Corporation and Bixby Box Toe Co. In 1966 Mr. Siminski had the Honors of the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus conferred upon him in Springfield, Ma. He enjoyed life and his family. His hobbies were fishing and woodworking. He was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish.
The funeral will be held on Thursday February 3 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Entombment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. A calling hour will be held on Thursday February 3 from 9 to 10 a.m. in the funeral home.
