WORCESTER___Catherine S. (Bogdewicz) Stukowski of University Commons, 378 Plantation St., formerly of 51 Country Club Blvd., died Monday January 31 in University Commons. Her husband, Ralph Stukowski died in 1970.
She leaves three sons, Edward G. Stukowski and Robert J. Stukowski both of Worcester and Ralph J. Stukowski of Auburn; two sisters, Wanda Novak of Worcester and Mary Johnson of Millbury; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. A son, Eugene Stukowski of Los Angeles, Ca., died in 1988. She was also predeceased by two brothers and a sister, Walter and Joseph Bogdewicz and Amelia Bogdewicz. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Benjamin and Catherine (Houch) Bogdewicz and lived here all her life.
Mrs. Stukowski was a sales clerk many years for Jordan Marsh Co., and retired in 1982. She was a graduate of Commerce High School. Catherine was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church.
The funeral will be held on Friday February 4 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. A calling hour will be held on Friday February 4 from 9 to 10 a.m. in the funeral home.
