ELIZABETH (OLDHAM) "Buff" BELL, age 95, a longtime resident of Weymouth , died on Sunday, Jan. 30th at the Bay Path Nursing Center in Duxbury after a long illness.
Mrs. Bell was born in Quincy. She was raised and educated in Wollaston and Hyde Park and was a graduate of the Chandler Secretarial School in Boston. Mrs. Bell was the executive secretary at the Norfolk County Tuberculosis Association in Quincy for many years.
She was an active member of the Weymouth Women's Club, the Weymouth Republican Club, the Weymouth Garden Club and was a volunteer for the 'Meals on Wheels' program.
She also was an avid reader, bridge player, and as a young girl, marched with her late mother in support womens' suffrage.
Wife of the late George H. Bell, III, she leaves her son; Stephen G. Bell of Hull, and three daughters; Deborah E. McIntosh of Daytona Beach, FL, Lura H. Keefe of Halifax and Diana Eichles of Virginia. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday, Feb. 5th at 11 AM at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond St., Hingham.

The interment is to be private.
