WORCESTER___Barbara Joan (Grygorowicz) Dufresne, 63, of 35 Seymour St., died Saturday January 29 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, 55 Lake Ave. North.
She is survived be her husband, Clement J. Dufresne, two sons, Kevin J. Dufresne and Kenneth J. Dufresne, both of Worcester; a sister, Dorothy Dean of Shrewsbury; three grandchildren, Jayda, Raykel and Kane and nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester, daughter of John and Bertha (Mazur) Grygorowicz and lived here all her life.
Mrs. Dufresne worked part time as a front end worker at the Cambridge Street Price Chopper Market. Previously, she was a dietician 17 years for Memorial Hospital. Barbara graduated from Commerce High School in 1961.
Mr. and Mrs. Dufresne were married on Oct. 3, 1970. She was a former member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church and enjoyed caring for and growing her own flowers and also enjoyed cooking, bingo and animals.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday February 2 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours in the funeral home are Tuesday February 1 from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress St., 5th Floor, Boston, 02110
