Ferenc O. Budai, 76, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at University of Mass./Memorial Hospital, University Campus, in Worcester.
He leaves his wife of 54 years, Marcia L. (Weickers) Budai, 3 daughters; Suzanne M. ‘Pixie’ Ligus and her husband Stephen of Plainfield, CT., Ava Treaster and her husband Larry of Hampton, and Jennifer Dube and her husband Ernie of Charlton, 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, a brother, Otto Budai of Kansas City, 2 sisters, Jucika Kovari and Eva Gonczy.
He was born in Budapest, Hungary son of the late Pal and Maria (Pikner) Budai and came to the United States in 1957.
He worked for over 30 years at Worcester State Hospital as a physio therapist before retiring.
Ferenc in his younger years enjoyed playing soccer and did so with his family as well as any family activity, he always joined in.
He also enjoyed the casino, playing cards, golfing, landscaping and gardening.
Most Of All He Loved His Family.
Funeral Services will be Private and at the convenience of the family.
The ROBERT J. MILLER-CHARLTON FUNERAL HOME, 175 Old Worcester Rd., has been selected to assit the Budai family with arrangements.
