Barnes, Ova Louis, 82, of Campbellsburg, KY passed away Monday, March 30, 2015 at his home.
Ova was a native of Hardin Springs, KY. a member of Ormsby Heights Baptist Church and had retired from Louisville Tin & Stove Company as a welder.
He preceded in death by his daughter, Claudine; two sisters, Ree Eings & Frances Carman.
Survivors include his wife of 58 1/2 years, Dorothy Fern (Goodman) Barnes: seven children, Lewis Barnes, Tony Barnes (Niki), Brenda Sparkman (Howard), Ricky Barnes (Donna), Linda Greenwell (Bobby), Glenda Payton (Danny) & Roger Barnes; a sister, Opal Lucas; a brother, Virgil Barnes; 26 grandchildren & 23 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday at the Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy with burial in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday & after 10:00 AM Thursday
