Stephen A. Marino of Reading died Sunday, March 29, surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Boston's North End, he was the son of the late Peter and Catherine (Maniscalco) Marino. Stephen was the beloved husband of Kathleen (Palumbo) Marino and the devoted father of daughters Michele Fitzpatrick and her husband Joseph of Winchester, Krista Marino also of Winchester, and Karla Goodreau and her husband Kenny of Reading. Loving grandfather of Stephen, Liam, Sophie, Peter, Devon, James, Matthew and Casey. Brother of Stephanie Vultaggio and her husband Jack of Tewksbury, Gus Marino and his wife Barbara of Boynton Beach, FL, and the late Annette Marino. Brother-in-law of Richard Palumbo and his wife Shirley of Wakefield and the late Michael Palumbo. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Stephen lived for many years in Medford and Winchester. He loved traveling with his wife, family, and friends, and spending time with his precious grandchildren.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Wednesday, April 1 at 9AM, followed by a funeral Mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 10AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family Tuesday, March 31, from 4 through 8PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
