New Bedford – Dalberto J. Pacheco, age 82 of New Bedford passed away on Saturday March 28, 2015 at New Bedford Health Care Center. He was the loved husband of Albertina (Medeiros) Pacheco and the son of the late Ermelinda (Sousa) and Jacinto Pacheco. He was born in Terceira, Azores and, after moving to this country in 1968, worked as a Mechanic for Best Choice Auto Sales until his retirement.
His family includes his wife, Albertina Pacheco of New Bedford; 3 children: Dalberto R. Pacheco and his wife, Jill, of E. Bridgewater, Delia Braga and her husband, Antonio, of E. Providence and Susana Pacheco of New Bedford; 2 grandsons: Preston Rainho and Aaron Braga: 2 great grandchildren: Scarlett Rainho and Karyssa Lopes; 2 sisters: Nair Estrela of Oshowa, Canada and Teresa Silva of Canada; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Pacheco will be cremated. A Funeral Mass with his cremated remains will take place Wednesday April 8 at 12 noon at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church burial will take place at South Dartmouth Cemetery . Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford.
