Irene (Perreira) Carvalho, 91, of Westport died Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center in Providence. She was wife of the late Antone Carvalho.
Born in Fall River, she was daughter of the late Manuel and Virginia (Souza) Perreira. Mrs. Carvalho was a Communicant of St. John the Baptist Church, Westport and was a former member of the Holy Ghost Club of Westport.
Survivors include 2 sons: Antone Carvalho and his wife Catherine of Westport and Robert Carvalho and his wife Mary Louise of Westport; a daughter: JoAnne Pinheiro and her husband Joseph of Pawtucket, RI; 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Tuesday, March 31, 2015 from the Potter Funeral Home at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Church at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours Monday 5 – 8 P.M.
Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
