Jerry De Conway

Jerry De Conway, 66, of Lapel, died March 26, 2015 at Harbor Manor Health and Living in Noblesville following an extended illness.

He was born on April 30, 1948 in Anderson, the son of Caral and Evelyn (Mittendorf) Conway. He was a cook and business owner most of his life. He was a BBQ Pit master and was the owner of Linders Lounge on the Point in Anderson. He served in the US Navy, was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Lapel, and was a member and past master of the Lapel Masonic Lodge # 625. He also enjoyed wood working.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Cynthia (Smith) Conway, whom he married on April 1, 1999, a son, Daniel Riley of Carmel, and 5 grandchildren; Kimberly, Madeline, Devon, Conor, and Dylan Riley. He is also survived by his brother in law and sister in law, Norma Lorraine and Michael Smith, and all his Masonic lodge brothers.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 30, 2015 at 3:30 PM at the Lapel Masonic Lodge, 9th and Main Street in Lapel. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
