Obituary

WORCESTER___Constance L. (Lamontagne) Demers, 86, beloved wife of Doria Edmond Demers, died Monday January 24 in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center. She was a resident of St. Francis Home, 101 Plantation St., and formerly lived at 1 Samoset Rd.
In addition to her husband of 60 years, she leaves a brother-in-law, Sylvio P. Demers, and two sisters-in-law, Helen T. Demers and Therese L. Griffin, all of Worcester; and three nieces and two nephews. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Antoine J. and Aurore (Fontaine) Lamontagne and lived here all her life.
Mrs. Demers was an advertising assistant many years for Denholm & McKay and retired when the company closed. She was a graduate of Commerce High School. Constance was a member of St. Joseph’s Church.
The funeral will be held on Saturday January 29 from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Church, 35 Hamilton St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours in the funeral home are Friday January 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph’s Church Renovation Fund, 5 Whitman Rd., Worcester, 01609.
