Dorothea (Casey) Perry, age 85, Wife of the late Manuel “Biddy” Furtado Perry, residence 4901 No. Main St., Fall River, formerly of 107 Mt. Hope Ave., Fall River, MA, Died Sunday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fall River, MA, Daughter of the late William Casey and the late Margaret(Foley)Casey. She had been a life long resident of Fall River. Before retiring, she was a Stapler at J&J Corrugated Box for 26 years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church.
She is survived by one Son: John F. Perry of Fall River, two Daughters: Nancy Mendoza of Somerset, MA & Mary Tavares of Fall River, MA. One Sister: Rita Costa of Fall River, MA, Six Grandchildren, Four Great Grandchildren, & Several nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Harold, Edward, and William Casey, and Ann Cippolini.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 No. Main St., Fall River, Ma. on Thursday at 8:00 AM followed by a mass of Christian Burial in St. John of God Church, Brayton Ave., Somerset, Ma. at 9:00 AM. Internment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River, MA. Wake Wednesday, Jan. 26th from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M.
