WEST BOYLSTON— Edna M. (Cosway) Buck, 97, formerly of 131 Sterling St., West Boylston died Friday in the Masonic Home, Charlton. Her husband of 54 years Royston L. Buck died in 1985.
She leaves 3 sons, Royston L. and his wife Sandra Buck of Dennis, Edward L. and his wife Joan Buck of Dennisport and Bruce W. Buck of W. Boylston, 6 grandchildren. 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A brother and 2 sisters predeceased her. Edna was born in Leominster, daughter of Louis and Margaret (Gill) Cosway and had resided in W. Boylston for over 55 years. She was a graduate of Commerce High School. Edna had been a member of the First Congregational Church of West Boylston for 55 years. She worked in the W. Boylston School Cafeteria system for 25 years retiring as Supervisor of the Major Edwards School Cafeteria. She was very active in the PTO, Cub Scouts and several church organizations. She loved to crochet and enjoyed and loved to be with her family and friends.
Funeral services will be Wednesday 11:00 a.m. in The First Congregational Church of West Boylston. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery at a later date. Calling Hours will be Tuesday 4-7 p.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St., Worcester. Contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Overlook Masonic Health Center, C/O Donna K., P.O.
