Obituary

Harold E. Webster age 83 of Salem, NH, died Monday at the Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, MA

He was born in Brattleboro, Vermont, where he grew up and attended schools and graduated from Brattleboro High School. Mr. Webster was a resident of Salem, NH for the past 37 years, formerly of Brattleboro, VT

Mr. Webster was a retired Purchasing Agent for H.K. Webster Company formerly of Lawrence, MA, where he worked for over 20 years. He had also worked for Wirthmore Feeds in Brattleboro, VT.

Mr. Webster was a US Navy Veteran, serving in World War 2. He was a member of St. Joseph Church in Salem, NH, where he was a communicant and former Eucharistic Minister. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Bishop Peterson Council # 4442 in Salem NH. He was also a life member of the Elks, where he served as past Exhaulted Ruler, the Knights of Columbus, and the New England Feed and Grain Council. He was a former President and Director of the Brattleboro Chamber of Commerce.

He was predeceased by his Parents: Harold B. & Bertha (Higgins) Webster

He is survived by his wife of 60 years Margaret (Porter) Webster of Salem, NH

1 Son: Robert E. & his Wife Patricia (Kearney) Webster of Manchester, NH

1 Daughter: Kelly & her Husband Scott McIntire of Londonderry, NH

3 Grandchildren: Mary Ellen, Kevin, & Jill McIntire all of Londonderry, NH

Several Nieces & Nephews

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church, Salem, NH. Burial committal services will be held at 2:30 PM at St. Michaels Cemetery, Brattleboro, VT.

Calling hours will be held Thursday from 3:30 – 7:30 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Joseph Church Food Pantry in Salem, NH or to the charity of ones choice.
