Obituary

EAST KINGSTON, NH: Michael Glenn Campano 52, died on Sunday, March 22, 2015 in the Merrimack Valley Hospice House after a brief illness. He was the husband of Kelly (Courtney) Campano.
Born in Malden on July 23, 1962, he was the son of Joseph J. and Thelma J. (Stormont) Campano. He was a resident of Groveland for many years before moving to East Kingston. He was a graduate of Pentucket Regional High School.
Michael was employed as a machinist for General Electric in Lynn and Hooksett, NH and Lawrence Pumps for many years. He also worked for Deprizo & Garafano Demolition Co. He owned and operated the former Campy’s Sports Bar in Plaistow for several years. Michael was a member of the American Pool Assoc. and enjoyed watching sports. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, hunting and especially loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his three sons, Troy Campano and his wife, Denise of Dover, NH, Ryan Campano of Amesbury and Casey Campano and his wife, Amanda of Kensington, NH; four granddaughters, Karolyi, Claire, Chloe and Hazel; four brothers, Charles Campano and his wife, Suzanne of Groveland, Daniel Campano of Rochester, NH, Kenneth Campano of Salisbury and Joseph Campano of Florida. He predeceased by his brother, James Campano.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday in St. Ann’s Church, 300 Main Street, West Newbury at 10:30 am. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday in the Linnehan-Grondin Funeral Home, 52 Salem Street, Bradford from 4 – 7 pm. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. Interment will be held in the Riverview Cemetery, Groveland.
