William Fiffick, 66, of Hampstead, NH died Saturday January 22, 2005 in the VA Medical Center, W. Roxbury, MA. Mr. Fiffick was born in Johnstown, PA on July 4, 1938 a son of the late William G. and Nellie (Betz) Fiffick. He had resided in Hampstead for the past 40 years, formerly living in Stoneham, MA. He served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict era. Mr. Fiffick was employed as a truck driver for many years. He was a former volunteer fireman for the Hampstead Fire Department. He was the current Commander of the VFW Post 11254 in Hampstead.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Patricia (Tripp) Fiffick of Hampstead, one son, Kenneth Fiffick and his wife Wendy of Fremont, NH, one daughter, Debra Davies of Rochester, NY, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, his sister, Nancy Comeau of Methuen, MA, also several nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held on Wednesday January 26th at 10:00am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Hampstead Fire & Rescue, 17 Littleās Lane, Hampstead, NH 03841.
