Great grandmother of Alex Faulk, Maya Renee Lysinger and Phoebe and Max Cajuste.
Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday at 8am. Funeral Mass in Christ the King Parish at 9am. Visiting Hours Friday 5-7pm.
Obituary Information
Mrs. Cajuste died Saturday at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center after a period of failing health. Born and raised in Jeremie, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Charles and Cecile (St. Macary) Samson. She moved to the United States of America in 1963. She had been a resident of Brockton since 1968 and became a US citizen in1998 and voted for the first time for Al Gore. She lived with her daughter Mona Borges and Mona’s husband Jacques A. Borges and cared for her grandchildren. Mrs. Cajuste enjoyed sewing and had been a professional seamstress in Haiti. She had attended New England Sinai Day Care Center and enjoyed ceramics. She was a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart Church.
She is survived by one daughter Mona C. Borges of Brockton, one son Raymond Cajuste of Brockton, 11 grandchildren Deacon Jacques Borges, Mona Lisa and William Lysinger, Jean Philip and Tamara Cajuste, Gregory and Natasha Cajuste, Christian Hollant, Aissatou Cajuste, Sebastien Cajuste and Alain Leonard, and 4 great grandchildren, Alex Faulk, Maya Renee Lysinger and Phoebe and Max Cajuste.
She was the wife of the late Lafontant Cajuste and sister of the late Yvonne S. Widmaier and Landry Samson
