Katherine Lanza, 89, wife of the late Paschal Lanza, died at Health Care South, New England Rehabilitation Hospital, in Woburn, on Thursday morning following an extended illness.
She retired in 1983 after working fifty years for Silikin Manufacturing Company of Boston. Born in Italy she came to this country as a young girl and settled with her family in the North End of Boston.
She was tha daughter of the late Accursia (Bono) and Cologero Termine. Katherine is survived by four sisters, Frances Marino, of Boston, Judy Zito of New York, Rosalie Travelo of Woburn and Susan Bono of Medford. Also many loving nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Katherine was predeceased by two brothers Michael and Marco Termine, two sisters Paula Bielski and Philomena Turilli.
Her funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford on Monday, April 8, at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral mass celebrated in the Sacred Heart Church 12 North Sq. Boston at 10. Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
