Obituary

Lloyd D. Bauchman Jr., 77, of Windham, NH, died Monday, January 24, 2005 in Caritas Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, MA. Mr. Bauchman was born in Lawrence, MA on February 13, 1927, a son of the late Lloyd D. and Marion (Labell) Bauchman Sr. He was a resident of Windham for 52 years, formerly living in N. Andover, MA where he graduated from N. Andover High School. During WWII he served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Midway. Following his discharge from the Navy he graduated from McIntosh Business School in Lawrence, MA. Mr. Bauchman was a lieutenant on the Auxilliary Police Force in N. Andover. He worked for and later retired from Queen's/Plaza Pipe in Methuen in 1989 and later worked for B & H Oil in Windham, finally retiring in 2003. He was a Junior Bowling instructor at Stadium Lanes in Lawrence and was a Cub Scout Leader and District Commissioner for the Daniel Webster Council in Lawrence. He was a member of Cochicewick Lodge AF & AM of N. Andover for over 50 years, A member and past officer of the White Shrine in Lawrence. He also ran the SHARE Program in Manchester, NH and then Derry, NH.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Irene M. (Serwin) Bauchman of Windham, two sons, Daniel L. Bauchman and his wife Marion (Bunny Myatt) of Londonderry, NH and Richard D. Bauchman of Windham, two grandchildren, Jesse Daniel Bauchman and Tawnya Lee Thompson, three great-grandchildren, Alicia and Hannah Thompson and Daniel Currier and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 28th at 10:00am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street Derry. Private family burial will be in the Cemetery on the Plain, Windham. Friends may call from 4-8pm on Thursday at the funeral home. A Masonic service will be held at 7pm during calling hours.
