Barbara A. Healey, 72, of Fremont Rd., Chester, NH died Sunday, April 7, 2002 at the Catholic Medical Center, Manchester, NH following a brief illness. She was born in Methuen, Mass. on September 4, 1929, the daughter of the late Thomas and Gladys (Leaver) Sumner. She was a resident of Chester for 50 years, formerly of Londonderry, NH. She was employed as a homemaker for the Rockingham Visiting Nurses Association for many years, retiring in 2000. She was a member of the Chester Congregational – Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, caring for the farm and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Robert E. Healey of Chester, one daughter, Faith Baird of Pembroke, NH, one son, Nathan Warren of Loudon, NH, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one brother, Thomas Sumner of Londonderry, NH and one niece.
There are no calling hours. Private graveside services will be held in the Great Hill Cemetery, Chester, NH.
