Robert C. Webster age 85 of Hampstead, NH, died Saturday at the Salemhaven
Nursing Home, Salem, NH
He was born in Concord, NH, where he grew up and attended schools and later
graduated from Keene Teachers College, where he was in the sports hall of
fame for Baseball. He was a resident of Hampstead, NH for over 57 years.
Mr. Webster was a retired Electronic Technician for Western Electric, North
Andover, MA. He was also a former teacher in Warner, New Hampshire.
Mr. Webster was a member of Hampstead Congregational Church in Hampstead,
NH, where he was a Deacon and also sang in the Choir. He was a member of
the Hampstead, NH Civic Club, and was a volunteer fireman and EMT for over
40 years.
Mr. Webster was a highly decorated US Army World War 2 and Korean Veteran.
He was also a member of the VFW, Salem, NH Memorial post 8546, the Retired
Teachers Association, and a member of the Kimball Family Association. He
was also an avid fisherman.
He was predeceased by his wife Ruth (Whiteneck) Webster
He is survived by 1 Daughter:
Elizabeth & her Husband Richard Rozzi of Pelham, NH

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 26, 2004 at 11 AM at the
Hampstead Congregational Church, Hampstead, NH. Burial will follow in
Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen, MA.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, January 25, 2005 from 3-5 & 7-9PM at
the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH.
