TEWKSBURY - Mary C. (Sullivan) White, 81, a Pro-Life activist, died Sunday evening, April 7,2002, at Saint’s Memorial Medical Center in Lowell. She was the wife of the late Alfred D.White who died in 1993.
She was born in Charlestown, May 21, 1920, a daughter of the late Denis and Mary (McGrory)Sullivan. She was raised in Charlestown, by her aunt and uncle Bill and Margaret (McGrory) Todd. She moved to Medford, where she lived until moving to Tewksbury in 1979.
She was active in St. William’s Parish in Tewksbury, and was a member of Boston andWashington D.C. Pro-Life organizations.
She devoted her life to her family.
She is survived by eight children, Kathleen M. White of Arlington, Alfred D. White Jr. ofMelrose, Denis F. and his wife Christine (Spellman) White of Melrose, Henry J. and his wifePatricia (Mulcahey) White of Tewksbury, John C. White of Belchertown, twin children, Daniel J.and his wife Barbara (Kearns) White of Kansas, and Helen and her husband John Kennedy ofDracut, and Michael T. White and Gale Flanders of Cambridge, 21 grandchildren and 2 greatgrandchildren.
She was also sister of the late Daniel Sullivan and John Sullivan.
Her funeral was held Thursday, April 11, in St. William’s Church. Interment was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
